Background
On a descriptive level, Lithium is an enterprise software company that develops platforms that allow companies to attract, engage, and follow consumer interactions. Lithium's real value is their ability to create experiences that tap into customers' shared passions, motivating them to contribute to a connected community of like-minded people. In other words, Lithium helps companies create brand nations.
Solution
Our engagement began by collaborating with Lithium to articulate the expression of their core value, "working with companies to co-create vibrant brand nations of empowered citizens." In this new world, people are active participants in the whole brand experience; they have rights and privileges, and they decide how they want to participate within their preferred brand nations. Lithium's brand voice reflects their role as co-creator—inviting and motivating with a sense of playfulness. To visually express this new positioning, we developed a bold visual system inspired by the shapes and colors of the flags of the world.
Results
The new Lithium identity launched at their network conference, LiNC. The reaction from Lithium and their customers has been very positive. Following LiNC, Lithium CEO Lyle Fong said, "The brand work was nothing short of awesome. It resonates so strongly with all our customers and with our employees. Thank you so much."
